I will stamp all over 'credible boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants met personally to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former two-time world boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I will break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

Despite those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's largest financial successes, consistently making substantial earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Size Disparity

As both boxers engaged in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really proceeding.
